I just had my right leg amputated above the knee due to severe infection recently, and it is certainly a process to go through. I'm surprised they didn't mention anything about the phantom pains, having trouble sleeping,or the whole adaptation of living / balancing medication to comfortably live without a limb. before physical therapy. ( I was a side sleeper before the procedure, and now I'm having to find creative ways to fall asleep on your back while propping up your leg to find a comfortable spot without triggering all the nerve firings in between)

I just received a new c leg and I love it. I don't seam to limp as much and it is so smoth. I can walk almost normal. I have been using mechanical knees for 30 years.

I have one, but is it true that it is difficult to adjust the height of the pilon because of the actual length of the Harmony 4? I am 5' 11". but my prosthetist says that they can't get a pilon that is adjustable enough for my height. My right hip is raised about half an inch too high??? Can you help me with this situation??? Any advice???

Hi it is time for a new leg but my insurance will not cover it. I am a nurse in a covid unit and wear a left bka prosthetic. I my fit has changed and it is time for a new leg. With all the stress on my leg from being bedside i have noticed that i am tiring out even though i have a high active foot. I need more assistance as i assist all of these sick people. What do i do to get funding? My insurance will not cover it. I am getting blisters in my current set up but work my 12hrs anyway.
